The new weave_two tee has been in the outlet for a while but I never really got a chance to talk about it, being so busy at uni recently.
The shirts we use are the best quality we can afford, we have used Gildan shirts for a while now, they have a good shape, are tightly knitted which means they take print well, and they seem pretty tough! However, it has bugged us for a while that although the shirts have our designs on the front, they were always stuck with the Gildan label in the neck. The shirts never felt like Aversion shirts, just Gildan shirts with a picture on the front! To fix this, we have recently started getting custom screen printed sizes in the necks of all our new shirts!
Who cares if nobody actually sees the print when its being worn, its all about detail! Little gestures that hopefully show we want to make nice clothes! So expect these treats in all our future tees. . and look out for other little details that we might slip in along the way!
Its been important to us since day one to keep most things short runs - nobody wants a shirt that a million other kids are wearing - and although we have, and probably will keep running the original design, we're always trying to keep stuff tight, and changing. We have an order placed for a NEW Summer 08 LTD design that should arrive in the next few weeks which will be limited to 30, and loads more in the brain bank. . .
We've also been experimenting with ways of customising designs even more, making super limited editions. I have a great screen printer who is up for trying different techniques out, and we have a few idea's in the works so hopefully in the not too distant future you will see some of those!
We've also got a super LTD (8 only) version of the WEAVE_TWO in the outlet at the moment as you can see from the pics below. Each shirt is totally unique - BOSH.
Just needed to get that off my chest, heres a few pics of the WEAVE_TWO and WEAVE_LAVA_LTD, check the outlet to get hold of them!
