327 miles later..............

Soooo.... I was supposed to be recording some new drums tracks this Sunday down in Margate, but that all fell to pieces due to a double booking or something?

Not all bad news though!

I remembered Timmy had mentioned something about Corby skatepark the day before, so I gave him a call. One thing led to another and I ended up driving to Croydon Saturday evening....
Woo!

Anyway.... Woke up, ate a banana, drove over to Frankies house, met up with all the other chaps (Max, Alex, Mehdi, Dan, Sam) and set off on our voyage to Corby! We got there around 2.30 I think?

For those of you who haven't been to Corby before.... Theres this odd box rhythm that starts with a flatbank step-up into a box lip with a tall landing into a nice sized box! Pretty much spent our whole day nibbling that along with the little bowl/curver/volcano complex.

I guess you could say the park is of a goodish standard when it comes to indoor setups? One thing that I personally couldn't stop riding was the 8ft *coping free* 1/4 infront of the boxes etc.... I would definately say that fucker is in my top ten things to ride ever.... It seriously is that good!

All the chaps rode well.... Dan was on form as always with his abundance of crazy combinations being fired out left, right and centre! Fuck yuth....

Also.... I nearly forgot to mention.... They have a resi box too! Holy shit.... That was loads of fun for about 10minutes!

I want to go back there at some point.... Maybe just to ride that 1/4? I definately recommend going there on a week day to save yourself from coliding with the 100,000,000 other riders who blast about! Assuming it to be quieter during the week?

So yea, my Sunday turned out great! Its always good to ride with the Croydon + Horsham massive....
